Our Benalla manufacturing site is located in regional Victoria, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne’s CBD. The Field Service business provides 24/7 servicing for: mining, hospitals, utilities, data centres and just about everything in-between. Portfolio covers all our verticals including drives, automation, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, UPS’s, computer room air-conditioning and chillers. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.
Based at our plant in Benalla, we have opening Electrical Trade Technician to join our high performing team. You will report into the Plant Manager supporting the refurbishment of LV/MV equipment, factory and attending regional sites.

• Demonstrated experience with transformers, kiosks and switchgear or willing to learn in these areas
• Customer facing experienc

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Completing factory Refurbishments of Transformers, Kiosks and switchgear
• Completing preventative and corrective site activities
• Inspecting project installations prior to commissioning and commissioning of equipment
• Attending service callouts, completion of repairs and resolution of issues
• Providing technical information and assistance on the range of Schneider Electric equipment
• Recording accurate information relating to site visits, unit replacement, defective parts and repairs
• Building strong relationships with customers and service partners
