Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Electrical Tradesman, Leading Hand to oversee and coordinate electrical projects while actively participating in hands-on work. This role involves managing a team of electricians, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Role Description

WE ARE SEEKING A SKILLED TRADESPERSON WITH THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

  • Available for full-time work (40 hours/week) in the Western Suburbs, NSW.
  • Proven experience as an electrical tradesperson with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and licenses.
  • Possesses a valid White Card for Construction Induction Safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.

Skills:

  • Experience in both commercial and residential electrical construction.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians on various projects.
  • Perform hands-on electrical work, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Interpret and review electrical plans and blueprints to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate daily activities and assign tasks to team members.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members and apprentices.
