Job Title: Electrical Utilities Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• Electrical Engineering Degree (desired but not essential).
• Electrical Trade Qualified (QQI Level 6) – Advanced Craft Electrical Certificate or Electrical & Instrumentation Certificate.:
• 5+ years in engineering or a related discipline, with project management experience.
• Understanding of site electrical infrastructure, substations, electrical distribution, PLCs, electrical drawings, P&IDs, and IS.101010 standards.
• Comfortable using IT applications, including MS Word, Excel, etc.

• Support the Site Services Team in the Turnover/Commissioning of the project.
• Conduct walk-downs with the Project Team on behalf of the site and generate punch lists as required.
• Manage punch lists and oversee the closeout of raised issues.
• Review documentation of various systems prior to turnover.
• Liaise with Project System Owners as required.
• Assist with commissioning and support system integration.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met, and safe working practices are adhered to.
• Develop a project plan and qualification strategy in line with project requirements.
