Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The expansion of Ampcontrol services in Western Australia supports the new company vision to lead the global energy revolution. Ampcontrol is focused on diversifying and growing the business with a key focus on renewable energy manufacturing and supporting our customers in decarbonisation and mine site electrification.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to support our Field Services team on a range of long-term construction projects related to major power infrastructure across WA. This is a field-based role based on both mine sites and in regional areas throughout WA.
You will be focused on providing a high quality of work and join a motivated and skilled team responsible for the onsite construction, testing, and commissioning of critical power systems. This role will require you to:
- Carry out testing and maintenance of electrical equipment as required.
- Complete allocated field service work as per the Scope of Work or Work Instructions.
- Participate in improvements in the workplace and be proactive in improving field service safety and efficiency.
- Raise non-conformance reports where required to document significant problems.
