Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician ideally experienced in solar or otherwise eager to transition into the solar and battery energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and interested in making a tangible difference in the world. You will be a crucial part of our team, helping to design, install, and maintain off-grid solar and battery power systems that deliver clean energy to remote communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and Maintain Systems: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain solar PV panels and battery storage systems.
• System Design: Assist in the design and planning of off-grid solar and battery power systems tailored to the specific needs of each location.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to local operators and end-users.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Community Engagement: Work closely with local communities to understand their energy needs and provide education on the benefits of solar and battery energy.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician: Certification and proven experience as an electrician.
• Passion for Renewable Energy: Genuine interest in solar and battery energy solutions and sustainability.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with solar PV and battery storage systems.
