LOCATION: HEARST, ON
GreenFirst is looking for an electrician to work within a team to perform maintenance on electrical and/or instrumentation and control systems, install repair, modify, and troubleshoot industrial equipment for electrical/electronic distribution and control (power and domestic).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an Electrical Engineering Technology program or equivalent
- Valid Electrician License Construction & Maintenance (C&M) 309A or an Industrial Electrician 442A
- Must have good communication and leadership skills.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical prints.
- Able to set priorities and work with minimum supervision.
- Strong computing and troubleshooting ability.
- Teamwork and self-starting work ethic
- Knowledge of Lockout: Isolation and de energization of all energy sources for the work area.
- Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)

Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical work as required: installing, repairing, troubleshooting, testing, and analyzing equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical code specifications, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs on electrical equipment.
- Complete appropriate paperwork, machine/panel documentation, and preventative maintenance records
- In emergencies make temporary or permanent repairs to minimize interruption of production
- Assisting on other duties to support the maintenance team to meet department requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
