QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Equivalent to complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a one year technical college education.
  • AAS with over 2 years with motor controls, circuit’s installations, read and understand schematics, PLC’s, Digital Drives and general troubleshooting

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, test and install AC & DC electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems, with a noted emphasis on HVAC systems.
  • responsibility to prevent damages due to mistakes or carelessness to equipment or materials.
  • Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly conditions.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationship with others and maintain them over time.
  • Minimize rework by closely following work scopes and manufacturing operation procedures.
  • Learn new technology as it relates to technology products as they are developed.
  • Use of advance trades mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, chart, tables, handbook formula; all varieties of precision measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings to wire/repair electrical systems.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
