Description:

Location: Clondalkin or Cherry Orchard - Single site indoor work
Standard Work Hours: 39 hours per week: 07:30 to 17:30, Monday to Thursday. Plenty of overtime available on Friday with an early close at 13:00. Overtime and hours beyond 39 are paid at 1.5x.
Pay: €28.02-€29.02 per hour (€56,804 – €58,852 basic before overtime, overtime depending on level worked could bring you to approx €70k)
Davenham Switchgear, a Legrand company are seeking an Electrician to join our industry-leading Electrical teams in Clondalkin & Cherry Orchard. This role will see the successful electrician interpreting 3-phase schematic drawings to manufacture switchgear assemblies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • National craft card or an equivalent technical qualification is essential
  • Practical expertise in electrical fault-finding techniques
  • Previous experience with Low voltage Switchgear, MCC, Power Factor Correction (PFC), control equipment, or PDC’s is a bonus but not a necessity

Responsibilities:

  • Craft top-quality PDC units for our esteemed clients
  • Interpret and implement 3 phase schematic and mechanical drawings with precision
  • Conduct thorough testing of switchgear products, adept at identifying potential faults
  • Repair and modify electronic automated systems
  • Ensure maintenance of all company equipment
  • Occasionally supervise and mentor apprentices, providing on-the-job training
  • Provide guidance and leadership to General Operatives
  • Adhere rigorously to health and safety regulations
