Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Our client is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions dedicated to sustainable power generation. They specialize in implementing, and maintaining innovative solar energy systems and solutions. They are seeking a passionate and driven Electrical Technician with a strong interest & experience in the solar industry. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar power systems while actively contributing to project development and execution.
- Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
REQUIREMENTS:
- In Depth knowledge of Solar energy system, design and installation
- NABTEB/ SSCE certificate
- Proficiency in electrical wiring, codes and ethics
- Minimum of 3 years field experience
- Experience in roof mounting techniques across different roof types
- Ability to communicate fluently in English language.
- Not older than 35 years
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Responsibilities:
- Installation and maintenance of power systems including AVRs, UPS and Inverters etc.
- Support senior engineers in conducting power audits, feasibility studies, site surveys, and electrical system assessments for renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed electrical drawings, diagrams, and specifications for solar installations.
- Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to solar power systems, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in the renewable energy sector to contribute innovative ideas to project designs.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards throughout project execution, prioritizing a safe working environment for all team members.
