Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Electro-Mechanical Engineer SME provides facilities engineering leadership to the site organizations to support safety, reliability, quality, environmental, and cost objectives.
As an E/M Engineer SME, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Owning safety within the area of influence; and ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility (or operations) impacts by meeting uptime goals.
Overlook projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule; oversee planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements.
Deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing, and commissioning solutions; effective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field. Identify and implement opportunities to achieve the lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability.
Results are delivered through the application of engineering skills and tools; systematic problem-solving; and statistical validation of system performance.
Collaborate with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, and key stakeholders, and through an in-depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance with existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Industrial Facility Maintenance Engineering. Related degrees will be considered on a case y case basis.
7+ years of experience in the following:
- Large-scale facility engineering and operations services support.
- Identifying, analyzing, and solving immediate issues with technical equipment.
- Mechanical systems, High Volume Air Conditioning (HVAC), fans, Chillers, pumps, piping, valves, and other control instrumentation, Process Cooling System (PCS) and other systems found in a clean room environment.
- Utilizing troubleshooting techniques and interpreting flow diagram processes at similar industries.
Upper Intermediate to Advanced English Level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Clean room facility management systems experience is a plus.
