Description:

Your responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of traction systems in electric buses, including high-voltage batteries, charging systems, communication systems, and more.
  • Installing, verifying, and configuring vehicle software on the control unit.
  • Diagnosing faults and implementing corrective actions in coordination with relevant specialized departments.
  • Conducting quality and functionality checks on the E/E system and its performance in buses.
  • Documenting and approving completed commissioning tasks.
  • Contributing to the development of future electromobility solutions, including testing methods and appropriate process steps.

Our requirements:

  • Completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician, automation technician, or a similar qualification with a strong background in E/E systems.
  • Intermediate English or German proficiency.
  • The willingness to relocate.
  • Ideally, further education in mechatronics or vehicle technology (B.Sc.)
  • Strong interest in diagnostic tasks with a keen focus on quality.
  • Ideally, knowledge of high-voltage systems (automotive) and/or traction systems (rail) and their safety mechanisms (e.g., insulation monitoring, emergency stop circuits).
  • Basic knowledge of programming environments like CODESYS, Matlab, and Simulink (familiarity with communication systems such as CAN bus J1939 is a plus).
  • Passion for learning and expanding skill sets
  • Team-oriented, solution-focused, and hands-on mentality.
  • Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office
  • Enthusiasm for vehicles and an interest in automotive industry.
