Electronics Engineer / Printed circuit Engineering
We are looking for a motivated engineering professional to join our Controls & Automation Team in Krakow Engineering Center. As an Electronics Engineer/PCB Engineer, you will be responsible for working with electronics documentation, schematics, writing procedures and testing of electronics components. You will be working in close cooperation with Electronics PLM/R&D Team in Kongsberg, Norway.

Responsibilities

  • Creating test procedures for our electronic products
  • Designing PCB and creating schematics
  • Creating new components in the library according to agreed TechnipFMC internal and industry standards on request from design engineer
  • Maintaining of the electronics component library including changes in component performance, availability of components, obsolescence in general and other possible reasons
  • Managing electronics component obsolescence issues for subsea controls, auxiliaries and other products from existing product portfolio
  • Adding new components into AVCOM for new designs and derivatives as well as existing design modifications
  • Monitoring and keeping track of component obsolescence issues in AVCOM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 year of relevant professional experience as Electronic, PCB Librarian or Electronics Component Engineer
  • Experience in using Altium Designer PCB Library and entire set of Altium schematic capture and layout creation tools
  • Thorough understanding of electronic component lifecycle principles
  • Knowledge of other CAD packages and 3D model data exchange formats will be a plus
  • Knowledge of Gerber file manipulation tools
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process
  • High level of autonomy in task execution
  • Accuracy, dependability and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Availability to travel abroad
