JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer V to join our team, providing critical engineering support for tactical network capabilities within an acquisition program. The ideal candidate will perform engineering processes, collaborate on innovative technology integration, and conduct comprehensive evaluations of network architectures.

• Engineering Expertise: Perform electronics engineering processes, procedures, and best practices. Provide engineering support for development, testing, evaluation, training, and configuration management in support of acquisition programs.
• Network Architecture Support: Provide engineering support focused on the transport and networking architecture for current and future tactical network capabilities.
• Technical Evaluations: Conduct thorough technical evaluations and assessments of network performance and architectures. Support risk assessments and integration strategies.
• Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with organizations such as PEO C3T, other Program Managers (PMs) and Product Directors (PdMs), Army-wide stakeholders, and coordinate on interoperability considerations.
• Documentation Review: Review acquisition documentation (e.g., mission needs statements, operational needs statements, Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), technical specifications) and translate requirements to develop technical solutions that are standards-based and cost-efficient.
• Proposal Evaluation: Review Government performance work statements and contractor proposals for technical accuracy and to ensure requirements are met.
