ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

We are currently seeking a qualified Electronics Technician to join our team. The Senior Electronics Technician role is ideal for someone with experience handling ESD-sensitive products, assembling and inspecting aerospace electronics products, performing tests and repairs, and operating and maintaining test equipment within an aerospace electronics manufacturing environment.

Compensation: $35-40 per hour
Hours per Week: 30 hours per week

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Electronics Technician, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electronics products.
- Strong understanding of AS9100 standards and their application in electronics manufacturing.
- IPC certification preferred.
- Electronics manufacturing experience within the aerospace industry is required.
- Thorough knowledge of handling ESD sensitive products.
- Excellent knowledge of electronic equipment such as digital multimeter, power supply, and electronic load.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Good understanding of Engineering/Assembly drawings.
- Soldering experience would be an asset.
- Electrical/Mechanical aptitude would be an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced PC and Microsoft Office skills preferred.
- Able to lift-up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble quality aerospace electronics products following detailed assembly work instructions.
- Perform acceptance tests on electronics products.
- Perform primary diagnosis and repair failed electronics products when required.
- Operate and maintain production test equipment as required.
- Conduct thermal and vibration testing to evaluate product durability and ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
- Utilize aerospace process documentation for various processes, including debugging and repairing procedures.
- Set up test equipment for product testing.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures within the company guidelines in accordance with aerospace standards.
- Adapt to improving environment and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with safety procedures and best practices.
- Perform data entry as required.
- Other duties as required by production supervisor.
