SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• HNC (preferably HND) level in electronics or equivalent experience
• Experienced in the use of standard electronic test equipment (Multimeter, Oscilloscope Pulse/Signa/Delay generators, Logic Analyser, Power Supply etc)
• Competent with assembly and soldering tasks, including very small surface mount components
• Using RF test equipment (spectrum analyser, network analyser, power meter, EMC test equipment, antennas, etc)
• Diagnosing and repairing electronic devices
• PCB CAD tools (eg Altium and CadStar)
• Able to interpret engineering circuit diagrams
• Able to build and test products according to specifications
• Able to work to high standards of quality and precision
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level
