Students can also enhance their skills through Greystone College, choosing from a variety of business-related programs, and professionals can enhance their skills through specialised, highly tailored corporate training programs.
Under the leadership of the Director of Studies ILSC Melbourne & National Corporate Training, the Corporate Training Coordinator supports the establishment and development of the ILSC Corporate Training division through ongoing, active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Curriculum Team, ILSC & Greystone Faculty, Marketing Team, potential and ongoing partners. They are engaged in both ELICOS teaching and corporate training.
As an ELICOS teacher, they play a crucial role in teaching across ILSC’s language programs, engaging ILSC students in their English language studies, and ensuring best practice in learning & teaching methodologies, classroom management, assessment, and use of educational technology.
As a corporate trainer, they are key to helping expand ILSC’s presence in the corporate training sector, building relationships with corporate clients, and developing bespoke learning & development programs. The role focuses on engaging ILSC corporate clients, determining their internal training needs, and co-designing effective training programs and materials at the organisational and individual level. The Corporate Training Coordinator works with client HR departments and with individuals to design relevant programs that incorporate knowledge of human resources functions, business intelligence, budgeting, project management and learning & development practices, combined with the necessary linguistic confidence, competence, people and communicative skills for career success in an English-speaking or international environment.
The Corporate Training Coordinator brings exceptional customer service and customer relations experience to the role. They effectively represent ILSC and Greystone College to diverse external stakeholders, catering to precise client goals and needs, and supporting client progress and satisfaction. The role requires working collaboratively and constructively within the ILSC & Greystone academic and professional teams, completing all administrative and reporting tasks as required, and adhering to relevant ILSC Policies and Procedures.
In addition to their teaching and training, the Corporate Training Coordinator fulfills extra duties to support the ILSC Corporate Training division and the Director of Studies ILSC Melbourne & National Corporate Training through bespoke course design, implementation and coordination, and engaging and supporting corporate clients with their training needs. The Corporate Training Coordinator also assists with implementing the administration workflows for official corporate training agreements, and with further recruitment and enrolment of individual organisations and clients. They are key to representing ILSC & Greystone in new and ongoing external partnerships and communications and at external events, including education fairs and job fairs.
The Corporate Training Coordinator will represent ILSC’s core values internally and externally, upholding a collaborative and supportive staffroom ethos, and participating actively in sector Communities of Practice and Special Interest Groups, such as the English Australia Academic Managers SIG and IATEFL BESIG.
The Corporate Training Coordinator is supported by the ILSC Head Teachers, works within a team of national Corporate Training Coordinators, seeks guidance from the Director of Studies ILSC Melbourne & National Corporate Training for corporate training matters, and reports to the local campus Director of Studies for ELICOS teaching.
