EMAIL MARKETER

We are looking for an email marketer that has significant experience working with different kinds of email marketing and marketing automation software to prepare and execute a series of email-based campaigns.

THE ROLE

This role is part time contract to begin with, and depending on success, may evolve into a more full time capacity as we explore more email lists from more competitors and adjacent products and services.

Your job will include:

• Sourcing email lists from not only competitors, but other products and services whose users may benefit from knowing about our product. This will include establishing relationships with those email list owners, and using tools such as TweetScraper.
• Establishing a cohesive strategy that takes into account:
• Who to email, and in what order (we have multiple lists)
• What the key message is, for different cohorts
• How to ensure maximum retention on the email lists,
• How to maximize click through and ultimately conversion into sign ups
• Selecting the email marketing tools, setting them up, managing them, tracking progress and reporting on status/results on a weekly basis.

You will also have the opportunity to establish our regular newsletter (separate to the market outreach outlined above). This is something we will discuss during the interview. Our newsletter focus will be on Nomading, The Network State, Geo-arbitrage, Flag Theory and Parallel Economies.
This is a REMOTE role and will require you to be self-motivated, hungry for progress, innovative and extremely diligent in order to keep up with what we want to achieve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source email lists (relationships, purchased and scraping tools)
• Select and manage software
• Establish a cohesive comms strategy
• Write & execute email campaigns
• Report to head of marketing on results
• Constantly iterate and improve
