Position Responsibilities
Plan, develop and implement email marketing campaigns to target audiences in support of business objectives.
Create and implement marketing campaigns to enhance lead generation and customer engagement.
Create static and dynamic segments based on customer demographics and behaviours.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure marketing emails are consistently delivered within agreed upon timelines and objectives, and with proper controls and approvals.
Work collaboratively with other Marketing team members to ensure marketing output is always on brand and of the highest quality.
Work with team members to develop email marketing guidelines and best practices for high quality communications.
Adhere to identified approval process for all external-facing marketing communications.
Coordinate with freelancers and suppliers as required
Prepare reports for all marketing email initiatives, identifying actionable insights and recommendations to improve metrics in future. Includes reporting to key stakeholders.
Document email insights and recommendations for new email campaigns
Leverage A/B testing to improve email performance.
Stay up to date on marketing best practices and trends
Identify opportunities for email automation and optimize marketing processes.
Collaborate with cross functional CRM team to identify platform improvements and write user stories.
Formal Education
Post secondary degree or diploma required (University degree preferred) in Marketing or equivalent
Related Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on email marketing, including segmentation, email building and customer journey execution.
Skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in email marketing tool (Dynamics is an asset)
Requires excellent time management skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate information and interact with stakeholders both verbally and through written communication.
Proven ability to proactively collaborate, take initiative, and creatively problem solve.
