Embedded Automation Engineer
SwediumGlobal is seeking for experienced Embedded Automation Engineer
Location: Skelleftea, Sweden
Job Description: Embedded Automation Engineer
Start: October 2024
Role:
- Providing technical support to customer for the adoption of Siemens products and services, particularly on new production lines and system enhancements
- Developing service specifications based on customer and Siemens requirements
- Execute work schedules with Service Supervisors and Site Service Manager, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Perform failure analysis and execute corrective maintenance tasks
- Conducting system-specific customer training
- Participating as a technical expert in sales and planning processes
Required Qualification:
- A degree in automation and/or mechatronics from high school, vocational school, or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a technician in the field
- 8+ years of experience with Siemens automation systems (TIA Portal (S71200+S71500), programming in SCL, industrial communication - PROFIBUS/PROFINET), and knowledge of project management and quality processes
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, WinCC HMI, WinCC Unified
- Industrial networks TCP/IP + IWLAN, Communication via OPC UA
- Control of frequency converters & servo applications
- Applications in discrete manufacturing industries
- Programming of fail-safe control systems
