SUMMARY:
The Unity GDK Developer III is in charge of developing and supporting the Unity game development framework and tools to simplify and accelerate the work of the different roles involved in game development.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- College or university degree in software development.
- Training as a programmer.
- Total programming experience of 5 years, in c# programming language.
- Professional or personal experience in video game development using Unity.
- Performs conscientious work.
- Has good communication and teamwork skills.
- Has good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Is autonomous and shows initiative.
- Good communication skills (French-English).
Responsibilities:
- Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Fully autonomous to execute the following tasks:
- Analyzes studio requests to ensure efficient and reusable solutions.
- Programs, modifies, maintains and tests the game development framework code according to departmental priorities.
- Clearly documents the code and processes so that game developers can easily use the framework’s features.
- Provides support to game developers when they have questions, bugs or requests.
- and executes fixes, change requests and tasks according to the workflow.
- Brings many improvement ideas to the development framework code, structure and processes.
- Have the capability to estimate time for a task and deliver on time.
