Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking Embedded Engineers with extensive experience in C & C++ for embedded software development. The ideal candidate will be part of a team environment and work with best practices, including designing interfaces, libraries, and unit testing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embedded software development using C and C++.
• Collaborating in a team environment to develop and implement solutions.
• Following software development best practices, such as designing interfaces, libraries, unit testing, and creating mocks.
• Development of embedded systems with VxWorks or Linux low-level systems.
• Data collection, telemetry, and IoT technology experience is advantageous.
• Working with TCP/IP communication and industrial/IoT protocols like Modbus, BACNet, OPC, and MQTT.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in embedded software development using C and C++.
• Previous development experience in a team environment.
• Familiar with software development best practices, including designing interfaces, libraries, unit testing tools, and mocks.

Optional Skills:

• Experience with VxWorks systems or Linux low-level development.
• Familiarity with IoT technologies, telemetry, or data collection.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP communication and industrial/IoT protocols (Modbus, BACNet, OPC, MQTT).

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.36/hour - $50.56/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
