The Team You Will be Part of
You’ll be part of a global engineering organization focused on audio/video innovation. Collaborating closely with the Video Business Unit (BU), your team will have e2e accountability for delivering knowledge to the BU and that the delivery of products is on time, on budget, and in alignment with divisional roadmaps.
This position is best suited to be based out of our HQ office in Ballerup, Denmark

As a Release Manager, you will oversee the timely delivery of embedded software releases for our audio/video products, ensuring a seamless user experience. You’ll implement quality checks to guarantee stable and reliable releases, build customer trust, and continuously optimize our processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the full software release lifecycle—from planning to deployment and post-release support.
  • Develop and oversee release plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Ensure releases meet quality standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee the implementation of version control systems, branching methodologies, and the coordination of several release streams.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate communication between development, testing, quality assurance, product management, and operations teams.
  • Create and distribute release notes, status reports, and documentation.
  • Implement best practices and automation to streamline release processes.
  • Lead technical knowledge transfer and training for internal and external teams.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • A Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Release Manager in embedded software development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD, version control systems (e.g., Git), and release management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA).
  • Experience with Agile workflows (SAFe preferred) and a deep understanding of embedded software development processes.
  • Advanced project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative individual skilled in creating a constructive environment that welcomes feedback.
  • Skills within the interpersonal realm, to establish a good rapport, generate enthusiasm, and negotiate priorities.
