What You Will Do
- Conduct EMC/EMI analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for aerospace systems and components to ensure compliance and reliability.
- Develop and implement EMC/EMI control plans and test procedures to mitigate electromagnetic interference risks effectively.
- Perform EMC/EMI testing in accordance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461, DO-160) to validate electromagnetic compatibility.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate EMC/EMI considerations into product designs, ensuring optimal performance.
- Evaluate and recommend materials, components, and design modifications to improve EMC/EMI performance based on analysis and testing results.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations on EMC/EMI analysis and test results for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and best practices in EMC/EMI engineering to maintain compliance and enhance capabilities.
- Assist in the development of EMC/EMI training programs for engineering teams to promote awareness and understanding.
- Support regulatory compliance activities and participate in audits and reviews as needed to ensure adherence to applicable standards and requirements.
