JOB DESCRIPTION

At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., we are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as EMEA Application Territory Specialists. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to build, maintain, and share advanced technical expertise and information for our ION Torrent and Capillary Electrophoresis product families. As a member of our global Services and Support EMEA team, you will collaborate closely with teams from GSS and commercial organizations, as well as with all respective teams in EMEA, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and networking.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree or greater in life sciences or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a commercial setting, ideally covering Ion Torrent and CE related technologies.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration skills, creativity, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Analytical competencies and technological understanding.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50-75% within EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new Business Opportunities through extensive networking activities on the EMEA and global level, including Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Services & Support partners, and Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Drive the Product Commercialization Process (PCP) to ensure full readiness and proficiency of support teams for new product launches.
  • Provide internal technical training and coaching to ensure the readiness of remote and field personnel.
  • Expertly address complex troubleshooting situations, ensuring prompt and professional resolution of customer issues.
