Role Summary
Manages a team of administrative support staff. Manages the performance of assigned staff and sets team priorities. Responsible for the achievement of team goals and objectives, talent management, and supervision at times across business unit functions and asset classes.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with training to ensure individual contributors understand the compliance and privacy standards and due diligence procedures required.
- Manages the team’s day-to-day workflow and handles inquiries/complaints. Manages relationships with assigned managers and ensures all questions are answered and issues resolved. Communicates with managers to ensure needs are being addressed and provides input to administrative support staff.
- Manages processes and provides oversight to the team to ensure that records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Has accountability for the human resources activities within the team (hiring, discipline, firing). May have financial/budgetary responsibility for the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 3+ years of total relevant work experience
