Who we are looking for
State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is the fourth largest asset management firm globally. Global Funds Management is responsible for all treasury, fund administration, and reporting for our registered and unregistered funds globally. This includes valuation, board liaison and reporting, financial and regulatory reporting, taxation, expense accruals, service provider oversight, new product. As such we are looking for a VP to lead and manage implementation for our global fund range. Candidates must evidence a working knowledge of European fund structures. Successful candidates will demonstrate a continuous improvement and innovation mindset and be technologically savvy.
In this role you will collaborate with European and North American stakeholders (internal and external) to identify, track and elevate issues, risks, and dependencies critical to the successful launch and lifecycle management applicable to SSGA’s Funds, with an initial focus on European domiciled funds. You will apply project and change management skills in the implementation of any lifecycle events, assessing for continuous efficiencies and enhancements of controls supporting the process. This role will be critical in the ongoing relationship and evaluation of the ecosystem created to launch and ongoing service SSGA’s Funds globally.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As EMEA Implementation Manager, VP1 you will:

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on ETF and mutual fund vehicles UCITS and AIF offerings and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Lead and participate in meetings with Product Development to comprehend product pipelines
  • Drive product implementation and change management by working with key stakeholders across SSGA and SSBT to manage and oversee end-to-end project activities such as scope and requirements definition, solutioning, estimation and planning, and execution.
  • Monitor implementation plans for significant deviations
  • Maintain processes to ensure project management plans are relevant, accurate and complete and support overall firm goals and strategic initiatives.
