JOB DESCRIPTION

You will have the opportunity to support the compensation strategy and execution for International Consumer lines of business as well as contribute to the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Compensation Agenda. Compensation within Human Resources (HR), as part of our talent development strategy, is fundamental to our goal to attract, retain and motivate our workforce.
As Compensation Associate for International Consumer Business, you will support a variety of global and regional compensation activities, including providing compensation analysis to stakeholders, actively contributing to annual compensation planning processes, and analysing and reporting internal and external market compensation data.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Relevant HR/Compensation, Finance experience, with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong data management skills and basic understanding of how a highly matrixed organization is structured
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications: Advanced understanding of Excel is required – mastery of Pivot Tables, IF statements, XLOOKUPs; exposure to VBA helpful
  • Detail and results oriented with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey a story through analysis and metrics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and cultivate strong partnerships
  • Proven consulting skills; ability to manage business goals through Human Resource/Compensation strategies and address issues/devise solutions with creativity and innovation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools, such as SAP Business Objects
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end support for annual compensation planning, reporting and administration across the Corporate and Firmwide Functions team
  • Provide ad hoc analytics and presentations to support senior management in making key decisions around compensation
  • Provide counsel to HR partners and business leaders on compensation policies and practices
  • Participate in compensation surveys; perform independent analysis of internal and external benchmarking data to support compensation needs
  • Review and approval of new hire offers to balance external competitiveness, internal parity and compliance with corporate governance guidelines
  • Ad hoc project work as it relates to compensation across the EMEA region – including gender pay analyses, adhering to local regulatory initiatives, and supporting local HR partners with compensation queries
  • Collaborate with other compensation partners to help build and refine compensation modelling tools
