As an EMEA Investment Banking Product Controller within our dynamic team, you play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. You’ll collaborate with us to oversee transaction lifecycles and P&L reporting, impacting both the firm and the wider financial community.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
- Part/Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent
- Strong accounting and double-entry skills
- Proven ability to identify and resolve control and risk issues
- Sound commercial acumen and financial services awareness
- Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage time, and adapt to changing situations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to challenge the status quo and generate solutions
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Responsibilities:
- Develop excellent partnerships with Deal Teams, Business Management, and other key functions
- Collaborate with the EMEA GIB business to support control oversight and business growth
- Manage daily P&L and risk reporting, month-end close, and financial analysis
- Oversee the impact of legal and regulatory changes on product control
- Support month-end close processes with Financial Control teams
- Lead EMEA GIB and finance-related projects, enhancing systems and processes
- Challenge and improve existing control models for efficiency
- Participate in internal audits and risk-driven product reviews
- Ensure compliance with control policies and standards
