The principal responsibilities are supporting the payroll function – ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees within the EMEA region

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • Experience of UK and International payroll processing
  • Processing payroll in EMEA (or APAC) region experience
  • Possess a working knowledge of international payroll-related requirements and regulations
  • Knowledge of international payroll vendor(s) software/processes
  • Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
  • Ability to organize and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Experience using banking and accounting systems
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externallyFluent English

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees within the UK/EMEA region
  • First point of contact with Payroll vendors UK/EMEA for those countries directly responsible for
  • Maintain Payroll mailbox for communication with external payroll providers and HR teams and employee queries
  • Close co-operation with EMEA Payroll Manager to assist where required and with Local financeResponsible for reviewing new hire entries master file changes from myHR
  • and reconciling payroll files from payroll vendors as well as auditing the payroll system data to the corporate system of recordPartner with colleagues to assist with payroll processes cycles and projects with HRBP’s business leaders Global/Regional Finance and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the payroll processes

  • Assist with research projects and preparation of management reports as needed
  • Ensure operational and SOX controls are properly performed within the payroll process
  • Assist with audit queries concerning payroll and payroll controls as required
  • Will assist with implementation of the International global payroll platform solution
