Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind one of the world’s largest cloud infrastructures, responsible for powering all Microsoft online Products and Services as well as powering Microsoft’s “Cloud First” mission. Within CO+I, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction team is responsible for supporting delivery of datacenter capacity for Microsoft’s cloud business. We have a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects with specific safety, quality, schedule, and cost goals.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMEA Regional Digital transformation Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) process, with a proven track record of implementing digital solutions to enhance project efficiency. The Regional Digitization Lead is the responsible advocate and acts as the point of contact for the Europe region digital transformation efforts for Schedule Management, Cost Management, Risk Management and EPC document management. The role will require defining and executing plans for digital transformation initiatives for the EPC team; defining, collecting and evaluating success criteria and performance metrics; assisting with communication plans and organizational change management; evangelizing programs to stakeholders; understanding process and data mapping and the inherent impacts to people, processes, technology, and systems; assisting with the identification, scoping, and prioritization of opportunities for program development and process improvements.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Bachelor’s Degree AND experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Indepth experience in project management, Process Improvements and digital transformation.
- Experience working in construction/capital projects and/or processes for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Finance in EMEA region
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to indirectly lead a team and influence others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience planning for and executing cutover and data migration plans while managing project risks
- Experience leading Software Project implementations and complex system migration activities for cross-functional teams
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with project controls software and tools (Omega, Procore, P6 Primavera, Safran)
- Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools such as SAP ECC and S4 Hanna, Power Bi.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project controls and EPC document management.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams on the planning, execution, and delivery of technology tools to enable EPC processes. Ensure software implementation projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of local processes and regulations in Europe, Middle East and Africa region to ensure compliance and efficiency in project execution. This may include understanding regional differences in construction practices, document management, and regulatory requirements
- Create Business Requirements Documents based on the needs of internal stakeholders including engineering, procurement, construction and project controls teams to ensure new tools and/or solutions meet specific needs of the collective EPC organization.
- Build detailed cross-functional process maps to support delivery of new tools and solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams to develop an EPC outline of the core and supporting business processes for the region, including regionalized details that cover people, processes, technology, and data.
- Write use-cases, execute test scripts and validate scenario outcomes as well as performance targets that are expected to be achieved.
- Responsible for collecting, validating and coordinating the data migration into new tools.
- Develop training content and ensure proper training and support are provided to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of the new system. Train and mentor team members on best practices in schedule management and the use of digital tools.
- Monitor and support tools post-implementation. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, prioritize strategic initiatives, develop project plans and implement enhancements.
- Support analyzing schedule data and generating detailed reports to support decision-making and project planning.
- Establish and maintain governance processes, ensuring compliance with master data management, enterprise policies and standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve schedule management processes to enhance operational efficiency, project predictability while aligning with industry standards and best practices.
