As a Vice President or Associate in Private Side Africa and Mena team, you will provide Private Side Sales & Marketing coverage to institutional and corporate clients in the MENA and Sub Saharan Africa regions. You will be responsible for FX, Rates private side risk management as well alternative credit and financing business.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree or equivalent
- Solid technical skills, ideally with FX, Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets experience
- Ability to prioritize and think strategically
- General awareness of key concepts in corporate finance, credit risk dynamics and familiarity with derivatives and/or loan documentation
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Interest in the Middle East and Africa regions
- Embracing JP Morgan’s corporate culture, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment
- The role is based in Dubai, with travel within the Middle East and Africa regions and occasionally to JP Morgan trading hubs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Fluency in one of the languages of the region is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across the region providing them with relevant thought leadership
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities expanding client base
- Structuring, pricing and pitching suitable solutions addressing clients’ needs
- Adhering to the bank’s transaction processes, policies and regulatory requirements: KYC, suitability, credit and compliance approvals and negotiating legal documentation
- Coordinating coverage with partners from other lines of business(Trading, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, DCM..) and liaising with product experts in JPMorgan’s trading hubs
