The EMEA Service Lead (f/m/d) for Mammotome is responsible for providing troubleshooting and technical assistance for capital equipment issues in addition to improving overall department efficiency and performance.
This position is part of the Global Service Organization located in Quickborn, Germany and will be on-site. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.
You will be a part of the Global Service Organization and report to the Senior Manager, Global Service Operations responsible for providing onsite support with the execution of daily operations, EH&S projects and partners with management to make improvements to the overall operation. THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • Associate’s degree in engineering, technology or business is required.
  • Several years’ experience in a service or manufacturing environment required.
  • Knowledge with ERP systems required with specific proficiency in SAP preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking initiative and concern for planning, time utilization, and cost containment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to gain followership and drive results through setting expectations and building a results driven culture.
  • Action oriented individual who is highly proactive at solving problem, working collaboratively and obtaining results.
  • 10% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations
  • Fluent in German and in English

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:

  • medical device industry and familiarity with FDA regulated environment would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize daily management activities and KPIs to monitor progress and continuously improve service center operations and operational efficiencies.
  • Help to define and execute project scope, goals and deliverables in coordination with management and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the execution of Environmental Health and Safety projects for service in support of site goals.
  • Effectively and efficiently conduct repairs in accordance with prescribed repair procedures.
