Reporting directly to the SDM Director, you will lead the dynamic team of EMEIA Supply Demand Execution (SDE) in Cork. We are responsible for leading the execution process for all products to meet demand within the EMEIA region. This is a critical role within the Supply Demand Management (SDM) function that provides execution support on a cross functional basis across the wider operations organisation. An opportunity exists for an ambitious, highly motivated professional to join the SDM team as a lead manager to achieve Apple’s financial plans by maximising sales with efficient execution across all our routes to market.

DESCRIPTION

Lead, manage, mentor and develop a large team of dedicated and focused professionals. Ensure a continued focus on the ongoing development of the SDE organisation and developing the skills base. Drive execution activities across all Routes to Market (AOS, Retail, and Reseller), ensuring cohesive and streamlined operations that support the organisation’s strategic objectives. Evaluate risks to the execution and implement contingencies to mitigate the weekly plans. Proactively work with the SDM team to ensure supply is positioned to support. Identify execution problem areas, and drive with the appropriate functional groups to resolve. Continue to evolve management system around execution. Ensure the strong focus on transparency is maintained with ongoing focus on system development to focus on exception management. Drive the execution strategy for more seamless execution - such as exception identification and execution of the resolution as part of a single activity. Drive New Product Introductions (NPIs) execution plans with a keen eye on simplification while at the same time balancing customer requirements and operational efficiency. Play a lead role in cross-functionally stitching across the operations organisation for all key execution activities, including NPI, Quarter End and Peak events. Have the ability to scale from the detail to the higher more strategy perspective to ensure the best solutions are identified across all the partners. Ensure there are strong communications to support an excellent partnership and knowledge across all the Regions (AMR & APAC). Co-ordinate with other Regional SDE organisations as well as WW teams to ensure that benefits in any Region can be shared on a global basis. Play a pivotal role in defining and executing strategic initiatives, including carbon reduction efforts and SAP SLM implementation to support the organization’s sustainability and digital transformation goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree - 3rd level degree essential in IT, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Maths or similar discipline
  • MBA highly desirable but not essential
  • Post graduate qualification would be an advantage. However, if you feel you have relevant experience, you are encouraged to apply
