DXP / IPS is hiring EMRs to join our team!
We deliver essential medical services to a wide range of companies and help to protect and support workers in remote oil field, pipeline and industrial settings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current (unrestricted) registration as an EMR with the applicable provincial licensing body
- Clean Class 5 Driver’s License (abstracts will be requested).
- Previous EMR experience, industrial experience is an asset.
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol testing
- H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada Preferred)CSO (Energy Safety Canada Preferred)
At DXP/IPS we pay a hourly rates (not daily rates), based on Employment Standards, this includes OT rates based on the weekly 8/44 rule. Paid Travel and Orientation, with accomodations are provided

Responsibilities:
- Provide a quick response to medical emergencies in an industrial setting
- Assess and attend to patient’s injuries; determine a course of treatment
- Provide first-aid or support to injured workers
- Effectively communicate status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency services
- Clean and decontaminate vehicles (mobile treatment center) and/or clinic area and maintain areas in a state of operational/medical readiness
- Ensure all reporting and communication requirements are adhered to regarding incidents, injuries and treatmentMaintain confidential patient medical documentation and reports as per governing body requirements
