Description:

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is looking for a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician to join our team. As a healthcare provider that treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch patient care, excellent customer service, and a collaborative work environment. REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current EMT certification
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work weekends and/or holidays when needed
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and team members

Responsibilities:

  • Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
  • Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests
  • Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
  • Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures
  • This position will be required to be trained in X-Ray
