Modelled on Health Education Englands (HEE) Emergency Practitioner framework (attached/link below). We are able to support successful candidate(s) with further academic study, ordering and interpretation of appropriate investigations, developing technical skills and undertaking practical procedures. This role also attracts 10% Supporting Professional Activities (SPA) time for Practitioners to undertake personal and service development. Therefore, we look for the candidate(s) with the right attributes and characteristics for our team.
We will assess people not only on their academic and technical achievements but on their non-technical and communication skills. Our EPs also spend time teaching, training, supporting and developing trainee and junior staff from nursing, medical and allied healthcare professional backgrounds as part of their role. Consideration maybe given to part-qualified applicants (minimum Advanced Clinical Assessment and either a Minor injury or Illness qualification) but if successful, pay grade and a development plan would require to be agreed.
