Description:
Nasdaq is looking to recruit an Emergency Response Team (ERT) manager to the Emergency Response and Operational Compliance team within European Market Operations. The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is comprised of a task force of managers and senior operational staff that are mobilized in case of major incidents. We are responsible for business incident management, which involves managing and coordinating the business response to major incidents concerning the markets’ trading and clearing systems and products.
The Emergency Response and Operational Compliance team is responsible for the Emergency Response Team function and organization, but also Business Continuity, operational risk and compliance of exchange operations.
Your role and responsibilities
- In this position, you will be focus on business incident management by leading the ERT organization to maintain a high degree of efficiency.
- The ERT area is closely connected to Business Continuity and Crisis Management, in which you are expected to drive European Market Operations activities and interests.
- Lead the ERT organization: Ensuring the ERT readiness of functions including planning, maintaining routines, education and exercise coordination.
- Implement new or update existing routines due to new requirements or improved procedures
- Conduct Business Continuity Management activities including scenario analysis, training and exercises on BCP routines and updating BCP documentation.
- Perform and ensure reporting to external and internal parties when requested.
- Collaborate with 1st line operational risk on risk incident reporting and following up on ERT actions.
- Collaborate with 2nd line functions, Group Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure assigned actions in Internal Audit and Compliance reports are closed within due time.
We expect you to have:
- Experience of working in IT, compliance, incident management and business continuity.
- 5+ years of experience of IT- or business operations within a bank or a financial institution
- Knowledge of or experience in working with financial markets
- Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and work in partnership with IT, business operations, compliance officers and legal department
- Fluent English language skills both written and spoken, Swedish language is a merit.
It would be great if you:
- Knowledge of compliance rules and regulations in financial area
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, technology, business administration or other related fields
