Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing, and engagement.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Emerging Talent professional to join our Emerging Talent TA team, on a 12-month Fixed Term basis. You’ll predominately lead on Graduate and Intern recruitment and development activity for UK Private Banking and Asset Management. As well as Global oversight, coordinating and communicating programme activity to relevant business sponsors and line/people managers.
You will work with multiple HR domains including Employee Relations as well as Risk and Compliance to develop an understanding of their usage of the tools and develop a road map of needs and objectives and to ensure effective design coverage of tests, defect resolution and hyper care, establishing a continuous dialogue with user groups (particularly managers and employees) to continue to improve the service delivery. There will be the opportunity to look at future transformation within this role.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Work on all aspects of the Graduate Recruitment cycle and ad hoc projects as necessary across for Asset Management (AMG) and Private Banking (PB), within our Wealth and Personal Banking business (WPB).
  • Manage the ongoing development for the Graduate Analysts within Asset Management (AMG) and Private Banking (PB).
  • Support the business on the Graduate Development framework and support execution activity.
  • Work with the business and relevant vendors, to co-ordinate and execute the marketing attraction strategy and selection process for Intern and Graduate across AMG and PB.
  • Support Emerging Talent/AMG/PB wide projects, relevant to the team.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Emerging Talent recruitment and/or programme development experience demonstrated through;
  • Delivery of graduate & intern recruitment campaigns and/or;
  • Execution of graduate & intern design/development activity.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity with evidence of navigating business/talent challenges within a large scale, matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build and develop relationships with senior stakeholders, challenging where appropriate.
  • Highly organised and resourceful, able to prioritise and deliver outcomes at pace.
    This role is based in: Birmingham or London with hybrid working.
