Description:
As an Employee Communications Associate Manager for Human Resources, you’ll support and manage the planning, development and delivery of enterprise communications at Best Buy. You’ll ensure effective and creative communication through content gathering, key message development, direct leadership support and deadline management. You’ll primarily support our Human Resources team, with a focus on enterprise learning and talent management strategies, HR business partner support, compensation, and other HR-related communication projects
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in communications, public relations or related field
- 3 years of experience developing and implementing strategic communication plans
- 3 years of writing, creating and publishing content across a variety of formats
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience working in human resources communications
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional partners and leadership
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make necessary decisions under pressure
- Ability to effectively operationalize team processes
- Ability to quickly and effectively build relationships with associates of all levels

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for comprehensive communication planning to include writing, editing and publishing content for various internal communications channels.
- Ensures successful management of messages across multiple communication vehicles for various intended audiences.
- Collaborates with communications leadership and other team members to recommend an approach for communicating to and for all levels of the company.
- Partners cross-functionally to consult and advise leadership and business partners on communication needs.
- Influences and recommends changes to our content and communications strategy and implements changes as needed.
- Coaches/influences communications team members
