Hft is looking for an Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join our People Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an ER Advisor, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting managers and employees across Hft, ensuring compliance with employment laws and promoting a positive work environment. This is a home-based role with some travel as required across the follow locations: Lancashire, Cheshire, Flintshire, Sheffield, Derbyshire, Leeds, Bradford and Newcastle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Be the first point of contact for leaders and managers, guiding them through complex HR cases.
- Risk assess ER issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Collaborate with the People Partners to upskill and train managers in handling ER matters.
- Maintain and analyse ER case logs to identify trends and support proactive decision-making.
- Stay updated with employment law changes, ensuring timely implementation.
