Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Adviser to join our People team. This role will be responsible for managing and enhancing employee relations across multiple care home sites including our Central Office in Winchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of employment law.

EXPERIENCE

· CIPD qualification (Level 5) or studying towards.
· Previous experience in employee relations or a similar HR Advisory role, preferably in the adult social care or healthcare sector.
· Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

SKILLS:

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
· Empathy and emotional intelligence to handle sensitive employee issues.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £40,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement employee relations strategies and programs to foster a positive work environment.
· Provide advice, guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
· Support managers in conducting thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
· Support managers in any formal hearings as required
· Delegate to the People Co-ordinators any low level ER cases where appropriate
· Facilitate effective communication between employees and management to address and resolve workplace issues.
· Monitor and review any recommendations from investigation and formal hearings
· Conduct exit interviews and stay interviews with employees, analysing trends to improve employee retention and satisfaction.
· Collaborate with management to develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics.
· Monitor and analyse employee data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement and productivity.
· Ensure Brendoncare compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
· Travel to various Brendoncare sites as needed to provide on-site support and guidance.
