What role will you play?
As an integral member of our Employee Relations team, you will deliver commercially focused advice across a broad spectrum of employee relations and employment law matters, significantly contributing to our employee relations agenda throughout the EMEA region. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including managing employee relations issues such as disciplinary actions, grievances, litigation case management, and performance management, as well as participating in project work like M&A activities, policy drafting and review, and navigating the regulatory change landscape. You will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and Reward colleagues, ensuring a unified approach to business-aligned strategies, and will have significant direct interactions with business clients, and colleagues in Compliance, Finance and Legal.
What you offer
- Proven experience as an employee relations practitioner in both in-house and legal settings or a qualification as a UK or European lawyer with 3 years’ post-qualification experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of employment law or Employee Relations in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in the financial services sector, with a preference for those who have cross-border experience, showcasing the ability to navigate complex, multi-national challenges.
- Exceptional team collaboration skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating agility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong client focus and well-honed influencing skills, with a solutions-focused mindset that drives you to deliver results and foster positive relationships across the business.
- Direct experience in effectively managing a broad range of employee relations issues, from disciplinary matters to performance management, indicating a strong capability in both strategic and operational aspects of Employee Relations.
