Position Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Employee Relations Department and assists in the day-to-day operations.
Essential Duties:
- Performs general clerical duties for the Department including data entry, preparing correspondence and other related duties.
- Creates and maintains electronic employee files and legal files in compliance with applicable corporate and legal requirements, ensuring accuracy of files.
- Entering and updating employee data in the HRIS, including processing of onboarding.
- Performs customer service functions by responding to employee requests and questions, escalating as appropriate.
- Manage leaves and accommodations in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws; includes generating and sending leave paperwork, engaging in the interactive process, generating Light Duty Plans, etc.
- Maintain current knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to employer and employees.
- Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents supporting the People Experience (Px) department.
- Assists the Px Team with various projects as requested.
- Scan, fax, copy, and mail documents as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- Associate degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- 1+ years’ Human Resources experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
- Willingness to learn new programs as needed.
- Working knowledge of HRIS/Payroll/ATS systems
- Must be able to multitask, be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Must exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in verbal and written communications
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, including ability to convert, edit, and publish documents.
