Job title: Employee Services Advisor
Salary: £31,750
Location: Pier Walk, North Greenwich, London – Full time in office, with potential to revert to Hybrid working dependant on business needs.
Contract Type: TFL Band 1, Permanent

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Administer and deliver end to end employee life-cycle transactional process and provide guidance to employees and managers, maternity leave, paternity leave, staff travel, secondments, people moves and resignation/retirement
  • Liaise with relevant third party or stakeholder as required to resolve staff travel queries
  • Enter all data into all relevant HR systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner and ensure that all documentation is maintained and stored within data protection guidelines
  • Act as a control and processor of employee transactions and flag transactions to relevant parties where required for further investigation
  • Take ownership and resolve all Employee Services service requests, ensuring customer expectations have been met, managing workload through various channels
  • Use available technology effectively to access relevant employee lifecycle content to resolve customer issues
  • Actively monitor and control transactions to achieve efficiency and best value, managing workload through various channels
  • Contribute towards continuous improvements, using process analysis tools to map and analyse end-to-end processes, understand blockages with a view to identifying means of improving performance, efficiency, reducing costs and improving customer satisfaction
  • Act in a positive manner by demonstrating continuous performance improvement, solid business skills and support of department/company objectives
  • Be part of the team taking responsibility for driving required cultural attributes across the team, including focus on compliance and service delivery, customer service excellence, and a focus on controlled continuous improvement

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of Employee Lifecycle processes (Essential)
  • Knowledge of the internal relationships and interfaces necessary for TfL Employee Services to operate (Desirable)

SKILLS:

  • Pays attention to detail and ensures accuracy and can review documentation and identify ways to improve its presentation (Essential)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple tasks and meeting deadlines (Essential)
  • Able to deliver against service level agreements and can track performance against agreed metrics (Essential)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of monitoring service level agreements (Essential)
  • Experience of managing workflow across different channels including telephone, email etc (Essential)
  • Experience of supporting an employee lifecycle function (Desirable)
  • Experience of working in a Business Services environment (Desirable)
  • Track record of Experience in working with self-service tools and processes (Desirable)

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for the delivery and administration of employee lifestyle transactions within Employee Services and to support employees with Employee Services queries and transactions where required. They will play a role in embedding new global H2R Employee Services process designs by showing adherence and compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives and embracing change initiatives.
