We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to work as part of our Employment Team across London.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on our Supported Internship programme, empowering interns with a learning disability to develop skills and progress to paid employment on completion of the programme.

Responsibilities:

This role will involve working directly with interns alongside their mentors and tutors to fulfil their career goals and build skills and experience to succeed.
You will be developing opportunities and job matching interns to departments within the host business and providing coaching and guidance to interns to complete tasks while developing their employability skills to achieve their full potential.
You will be supporting people with a learning disability and/or autism into work, open opportunities with employers, and maximise work experience and employment opportunities for people with a learning disability.
Working as a partnership with onsite team, tutors and host business to develop the supported internship programme
Supporting interns to learn tasks in their rotations, gaining feedback and developing relationships with managers and mentors
Supporting interns to develop their career goals and aspirations to secure paid work
Support with applications, interviews and in-work support.
Engaging employers to increase awareness of the benefits of employing people with a learning disability.
Negotiating reasonable adjustments in the workplace
