ABM College is currently looking for a highly competent, energetic, and exceptionally motivated Employment Counsellor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Social Work, Marketing, Psychology, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as an Employment Counsellor, preferably in a college setting.
- Strong marketing and project management skills.
- Demonstrated success in building employer relationships and securing employment opportunities for clients.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate practicum placements for students and alumni, ensuring alignment with their career goals and interests.
- Design, implement, and manage professional development initiatives for students and alumni, such as job search strategies, résumé writing (individual or group settings), interview preparation, and more.
- Build and sustain partnerships with community groups, agencies, businesses, industries, and other organizations as potential employers.
- Gather and analyze labor market information to provide insights on job opportunities, skill requirements, and occupational trends.
- Maintain up-to-date records of alumni employment, supporting their career progression.
- Perform general recruitment and administrative tasks, contributing to the overall success of the team.
