ABOUT US:
We are a legal staffing company seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our client, a reputable employment law firm based in California. This role offers the opportunity to support a team that advocates for clients in employment-related legal matters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as an Intake Specialist in a legal or similar environment, with strong skills in client communication and initial case assessment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data entry and document handling.
- Familiarity with Clio case management software is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in an employment law setting.
- Proficiency with Clio or similar legal case management software.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients, gathering essential case details and conducting thorough intake assessments.
- Screen inquiries to assess the case’s compatibility with firm services, ensuring alignment with client eligibility criteria.
- Accurately input, maintain, and organize client data, documentation, and case details in the firm’s case management system.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and guiding clients through the initial phases of the legal process.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure a smooth transition from intake to active case management.
