    Are you a seasoned Employment Law professional with a passion for navigating complex employee relations and Employment Tribunal cases? We’re seeking an Employment Law Partner to oversee employment law activities across designated Compass Group sectors, delivering expert guidance and innovative solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Employment Tribunal Management:
  • Handle Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims, including devising defense strategies, managing risk, and representing Compass Group at hearings.
  • Draft ET3 responses, prepare case documents, and manage all hearing-related activities, including preliminary hearings, judicial mediation, and full merits hearings.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build strong relationships with MDs, Operational Directors, and HR teams.
  • Provide comprehensive feedback post-tribunal to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Advisory Role:
  • Offer expert advice on settlement agreements, internal cases, TUPE processes, and complex employee relations matters.
  • Conduct mediation and guide on ad-hoc projects to support business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and discrimination law.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of Employment Tribunal case management, including advocacy.
  • Skills: Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation, analytical abilities, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Attributes: Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
