EMS Issuer Services Advisor

Key accountabilities

The EMS Issuer Services team in Dublin manages and coordinates on a global level with regards to Equity, Bond, Fund and ETF securities listed and traded on Euronext markets. That includes:

• Listing and trade set-up of new products , ongoing maintenance, suspension, restoration and delisting of Debt and Investment Fund securities
• Manage the impact of CA on all asset classes from trading to settlement
• Provision of the Company Announcements Services for Euronext Dublin and operating the Officially Appointed Mechanism (OAM) regulatory function
• Processing of Net Asset Values (NAV) through ISEdirect to the market
• Timely processing of Government Bond Primary Dealer trade reporting
• Managing requests from the general public with regard to price information
• Ensure Euronext Market Services Daily Official List is published on time
• Operational coordination with post trading partners / infrastructure such as settlement and central security depositories
• Client support and coordination
• Data mining, referential updating and reporting
• Uploading of securities into central database
• On-going maintenance of those securities once listed
• Uploading new instruments onto our trading platform and on-going
• Processing of government bond Primary Dealer trade reporting
• Processing Net Asset Values (NAV) into our systems for investment funds
• Delivery of Company Announcement Services and OAM obligations
• Ensures adjustment for corporate actions is performed in accordance with the rules
• In projects takes part in business acceptance tests of new/updated functionality
• Supporting customer relationship management and coordination of its related systems
• Manage price requests from the general public
• Proof information prior to publication of the Daily Official List
• Is part of a wider cross-location team and reports to the Issuer Services Manager located in Dublin

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education

• Graduate with a degree or master degree in finance related subject preferred
• Previous experience gained through internships in Middle Office is desirable
• Ability to communicate at a business level in more than one language a distinct advantage, with Dutch or Portuguese preferred

Experience

• An understanding of Financial markets & markets structures
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and a 2nd language (Portuguese or Dutch), while not mandatory, would constitute an important advantage
• Database management and tools programming skills: MS office, Macros, VBA Access and SQL
• Proven analysis and reporting skills
• Self-motivated and pro-active with the capacity to provide new ideas
• Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator, especially in a client facing context
• Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude at all times in a fast paced international environment
