ABOUT THIS JOB

This is a fixed term position where we are looking for someone to manage an occupational therapy team providing assessments and equipment and adaptations to facilitate and promote people to remain independent within their homes and the local community
The successful candidate will oversee the ongoing development of occupational therapy plans and assess and advise on the need for equipment and adaptations and assistive technology to promote the independence of children, young people and adults with disabilities
You will positively contribute to the achievement of joint working by referring, liaising, consulting and collaborating effectively with other professionals; working with the statutory, voluntary and private sectors to identify and meet the needs of service users, families and carers.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POST

You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience of working with both children and adults and registered with HCPC.
